The 2013 Ducati Monster 1100 EVO Diesel

Creative, innovative, fun, irreverent, sexy and brave are the words to best describe the new Monster family. The name is 2013 Ducati Monster 1100 EVO Diesel. This bike is a new sports concept and superior riding pleasure to refine the original Monster formula, which makes it an icon of the naked segment. It’s technically based on 1100EVO standard version and offers the same technical equipment and specifications. The bike also result from collaboration between Diesel's founder Renzo Rosso and the Ducati Design Center. The Monster Diesel is complemented with a dedicated Capsule Collection designed by Diesel for those who share a desire for urban motorcycle fashion and the passion. 

The engine packed in 1078cc type L-Twin cylinder, 2 valve per cylinder Desmodromic, air cooled, 6-speed of gearbox and fuel injection used Siemens electronic fuel injection with 45mm throttle body. It’s used bore x stroke with size 98 x 71.5mm. This engine can produce maximum power 100hp (73.5kW) @ 7500rpm and torque 76lb-ft - 10.5kgm @ 6000rpm. This engine used latest evolution combined with the Monster's airbox capacity and latest exhaust configuration marks a milestone for Ducati's 2-valve engine as the first to reach 100hp.
The Monster 1100EVO is the first two valve engine model to be equipped with the state of the art Ducati Traction Control system (DTC). The Monster 1100EVO DTC system uses the same software logic developed and used by Ducati Corse for their winning bikes in MotoGP and Superbike Championships. The system offers a choice of four profiles, each one programmed with a wheel-spin tolerance matched to progressive riding levels of skill graded from one to four.
The 2013 Monster 1100 EVO Diesel used light tubular steel Trellis frame with aluminium rear sub-frame is the visual and structural backbone of the Monster. The lightweight aluminium sub-frame maintains visual continuity with the footrest hangers and swingarm. For comfortable riding, this bike used fully adjustable 43mm Marzocchi forks and Sachs rising-rate rear suspension unit, with adjustable spring pre-load and return damping, offer sufficient personalisation to suit all riding styles and provide the perfect perfomance.
For braking, the 2013 Monster 1100 EVO Diesel used double disc with 320mm disc, 4-piston radial calliper with ABS in front and single disc with 245mm disc, 2-piston calliper with ABS in rear side. The Monster 1100EVO was the first model to introduce the Ducati Safety Pack (DSP), configured to enhance rider control on Ducati's lifestyle models. DSP consists of the ultra-dependable Brembo-Bosch ABS braking system and user-friendly 4-level Ducati Traction Control (DTC).
