The engine arrive with 649 cm³ type DOHC, 8 valves, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke parallel twin, and transmission with 6-speed, return. The parallel twin engine configuration was chosen as the best balance of good power characteristics and compact size. The engine can produce maximum power 53 kW {72.1 PS} / 8,500 rpm and maximum torque 64 N.m {6.5 kgf.m} / 7,000 rpm.
The ER-6n used double-pipe perimeter-style frame. The double-pipe design of the new frame, made from high-tensile steel, contributes to the bike’s lightweight appearance. It’s a key component of the bike identity. The rigidity balance of the double-pipe frame and swingarm contributes to a lighter, easier handling package. For suspension used 41 mm telescopic fork in front and offset laydown single-shock with adjustable preload in rear.
For braked, the ER-6n used dual semi-floating 300 mm petal discs and caliper with dual piston in front and in the rear used single 220 mm petal disc and caliper with single-piston. The 2013 Kawasaki ER-6n released in UK MSRP Price: £5899.
